Instructions for effective activation of Star:

  1. Spray before weeds emerge and no later than fresh shoots stage. Make sure planting soil is uniform and free of vegetal residue.
  2. Spray on damp and aerated soil.
  3. Activate product by sprinkling (20-40 cu.m./dunam) or rain, as close as possible to the time of application.
  4. If there are sprouted weeds in the area -to be  treatedthe product's scorching (contact) action may be utilized. Many weed sprouts are sensitive to contact with the product and are scorched to the extent of elimination. In such cases, irrigation should be delayed for 48 hours. If there are existing weeds in the area designated for treatment, combine the product with a contact herbicide such as Dukatalon and apply before planting.
  5. Turning the treated soil or disturbing the treated layer affect the product's efficiency and shorten the duration of its action.
  6. When sprinkling, avoid spraying sand on plants' foliage, especially in sandy soils and susceptible crops. In such cases, use sprinklers with a small-medium orifice and ensure suitable water flow rate.
  7. Do not apply product in tunnels and hot-houses. At high temperatures, vapors of the product may condense on the plastic covering, drip and scorch the plants' foliage.
  8. When spraying in nurseries and fruit groves, avoid spraying on young -buds or on -fruit buds to avoid damage.
